Hi, I’m Juliet
Pilates Instructor, PT, amateur endurance athlete, health & fitness writer
based in Blackheath, London SE3
As a woman in her mid-50s, I never expected to have so many adventures.
To travel to compete in endurance events, to find myself through long solitary runs, cycles and swims.
In 2008 I stepped into a Pilates studio and changed my life
My body, and my attitude to what it could achieve were transformed - my posture, strength and flexibility all improved
I found myself setting and achieving goals I'd always assumed were out of my reach, like running half and full marathons
When practiced consistently, Pilates has the power to transform a broken body
I began pilates teacher training in 2011, qualifying in mat, reformer and comprehensive studio equipment
I now have a full pilates studio in my home including 2 reformers, trapeze table, chair, barrel, arc, Oov etc
I qualified as a personal trainer in 2019
Weight training empowered my now robust body to tackle more extreme goals
6 Ironman triathlons since turning 50
Cycling 1000 miles Lands End to John O’Groats in 9 days
Swimming the Croatian archipelago, cycling from the Channel to the Mediterranean, running and hiking adventures
HYROX and DEKA fitness racing
I want to help others get the most from their bodies - using pilates, weight training, goal setting, Melt Method and stretching.
